In the Mercedes-Benz BABY-SAFE plus II infant carrier babies from birth up to an age of 15 months (up to a body weight of 13 kg) are safe and comfortable on the road. The transportation of the baby against the direction of travel offers a good support for head, neck and back during normal journeys and in the event of an accident.
The patented D-Sip system and the deep-shaped seat shell allow a suitable side impact protection and a high safety level in general. The upholstery used relieve the particularly vulnerable body areas of infants.
The Mercedes-Benz child seat range is also regularly checked for restraint effect and quality with comprehensive crash tests.
In addition, the sunscreen with UPF 50+ sun protection protects the child against wind and sunlight. The carry handle, adjustable in three ways and featuring one-handed comfort operation, allows the baby to comfortably lay in the infant carrier. The head restraint can be adjusted to 7 height levels and the backrest can be moved to a fully reclined position.
The exclusive cover in black with contrasting topstitching, designed by our Mercedes-Benz designers and made from high-quality materials, not only perfectly integrates into the interior of the vehicle, but can also be removed and washed. Replacement covers are available separately.
Changing from the vehicle to the buggy is possible in no time at all: the Mercedes-Benz BABY-SAFE plus II fits all Britax buggies and, using adapters, to many other common buggies as well. The child seat is made in Germany.
