Enlarged displacement, more performance: as a successor to the type 380, in March 1934 the type 500 with compressor, 500 K for short, was presented at the International Motor Show in Berlin. In autumn of the same year Daimler-Benz presented the Special Roadster – a special version of the 500 K, which still inspires as a classic car today. Presenting the miniature model of the 500 K Special Roadster, recreated from the original to the highest level of detail, making collectors' hearts beat faster. The hand-crafted model car is finished in an authentic paintwork colour and features an accurately detailed interior. The doors, bonnet and tailgate can be opened, allowing closer inspection of the car's interior. The model is mounted on a printed base in a presentation box and is delivered in Mercedes-Benz Classic design packaging.
